All Africa House provides comfortable B&B accommodation: A home away from home, a quiet refuge to recharge after a busy day at UCT.
Our guests include visiting academics, researchers and postgraduate students from the African continent and the rest of the world, conference attendees and visitors on university-related busines. Our guests particularly enjoy the environment of meeting colleagues from other parts of the world and other fields of academic study.
This spacious, modern complex is set against the spectacular backdrop of Table Mountain and conveniently located on UCT's Middle Campus. Guests can enjoy their accommodation and our friendly service, the leafy courtyard and our communal areas.

What you can expect
All Africa House provides accommodation for:
- Visiting academics and researchers on scholarly business to the University of Cape Town (UCT)
- Postgraduate students (potential or current) affiliated with UCT
- Conference delegates attending an event on campus
- Visitors on UCT-related business

Accommodation:
- Single rooms: include single bed, shared kitchen and shared bathroom facilities
- En-suite rooms: include double bed, en-suite bathroom and shared kitchen facilities
- Studio flats: include double bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and TV
- Executive flats: include double bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchen area and open-plan lounge/dining area with TV
- Group offering: our single rooms and en-suite rooms can be booked as a cluster sharing the same bathroom and/or kitchen facilities
- B&B: all rooms include breakfast Mon–Fri 07h30–10h00
